Joshua 1:9
Be Strong and Courageous.
Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
God's Strength
"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty "
The God who rescued Daniel from the lions den (Daniel 6:22), Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the furnace (Daniel 3:8-25), Moses and the Israelites (Exodus 14:30-31) will save you too.
Romans 8:31-34
God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Prayer inspired by Psalms 25
'Turn Yourself to me,
and have mercy on me,
For I am desolate and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart have enlarged;
Bring me out of my distresses!
Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins.
Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!'
"This situation may be bigger than me but God is BIGGER"
Sovereign (Adjective): possessing supreme or ultimate power.
We have a sovereign God, Maker of the Heavens and Earth, (Acts 4;24). He has power above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:21-23):
God defeated multiple giants through His people such as Moses with the Israelites, and David with his men. "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty" (1 Samuel 17:45). Goliath was taken down by the power of God resting on young David; who was appointed kingship by God. These testimonies exemplify how God can overcome all the things we view as giants in our lives. David did not defeat Goliath because he was strong. God's power empowered him to defend the people of God who were being threatened. Your "Goliath" could be an upcoming meeting, or school project. Just like King David, God will use you for His Glory. It doesn't matter how big the problem is, God is bigger than them ALL so let your requests be known and Let God protect you in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:5-9).
When nobody understands you, remember God does.
God fashioned our hearts, He knows us all individually (Psalms 33:15). God knows your struggles, needs, fears and pain before you can express it to Him (Matthew 6:8). He knows all of your heart and mind even when you don't (Jeremiah 17:10, Romans 8:27-29).God knows what you can handle and what you can't (1 Corinthians 10:13), and despite your weaknesses, He loves you perfectly in return to give Jesus Christ to save you (John 3:16).
The Holy Spirit searches all things and knows the thoughts of all men and God (I Corinthians 2:10-16, Colossians 3:11). God wants us to come to Him for understanding, because only He knows your whole life. God gives understanding and wisdom generously (James 1:5). Keep asking him for understanding, He won't be mad at you for asking.

The source of our strength comes from God (Isaiah 40:31, Psalm 18:39). Our help comes from Jehovah Jireh, our provider (Psalm 121:1-2). We all fall short of the Glory of God, it is God who works in us to accomplish great things (Romans 3:23, Philippians 2:13). God wants us to surrender to Him and believe. Surrender the need to fight every battle your way and let the God of peace take control.
The way we connect to our Heavenly Father is through Jesus (John 14:6). Jesus is the solid foundation we can fall upon that cannot be shaken (2 Timothy 2:19); that doesn't mean we won't get overwhelmed or never make mistakes, it means we FALL upon God and He will uphold us with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). God is our refuge, our safety tower (Psalm 61:3).

Hebrews 11:32-34
And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Judges 14:6
The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully upon him so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.
Psalm 77:14-15
Our strength comes from the arm of the Lord of Redemption:
You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples. You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

Our security and strength comes from trusting in God's power and grace, not in human or animal strength:
Psalms 33:16-17
No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
Psalm 147: 10
He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
1 Corinthians 1:27-29, 31
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.
1 Corinthians 3:21
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
1 Corinthians 4:9-10
For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong!
Psalm 144:1-2
Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle— My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.
Psalm 135:10-11
He defeated many nations
And slew mighty kings—
Sihon king of the Amorites,
Og king of Bashan,
And all the kingdoms of Canaan
Psalm 132:8
Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength.
Psalm 35:10
All my bones shall say, “LORD, who is like You, Delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him, Yes, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him?”
God Saves King David
Psalm 144:10-11
'For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favoured them.' Psalms 44:3
'When the Philistines were at war again with Israel, David and his servants with him went down and fought against the Philistines; and David grew faint. Then Ishbi-Benob, who was one of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose bronze spear was three hundred shekels, who was bearing a new sword, thought he could kill David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah came to his aid, and struck the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, “You shall go out no more with us to battle, lest you quench the lamp of Israel.”' (II Samuel 21:15-17)
'
'Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord , who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.
“When the waves of death surrounded me, The floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the Lord , And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry entered His ears. “Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet. He rode upon a cherub, and flew; And He was seen upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness canopies around Him, Dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. From the brightness before Him Coals of fire were kindled.
“The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice. He sent out arrows and scattered them; Lightning bolts, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered, At the rebuke of the Lord , At the blast of the breath of His nostrils. “He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.
“The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord , And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all His judgments were before me; And as for His statutes, I did not depart from them. I was also blameless before Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity. Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in His eyes.
“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd. You will save the humble people; But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down. “For You are my lamp, O Lord ; The Lord shall enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
“For who is God, except the Lord ? And who is a rock, except our God? God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me; So my feet did not slip. “I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. And I have destroyed them and wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet.
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me. You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They looked, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord , but He did not answer them. Then I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth; I trod them like dirt in the streets, And I spread them out. “You have also delivered me from the strivings of my people; You have kept me as the head of the nations. A people I have not known shall serve me. The foreigners submit to me; As soon as they hear, they obey me. The foreigners fade away, And come frightened from their hideouts. “The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation! It is God who avenges me, And subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord , among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name. “ He is the tower of salvation to His king, And shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.”' (II Samuel 22:1-51)

Psalms 74:13-17
You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters. You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces, And gave him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness. You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up mighty rivers. The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter.
